Sony Vaio And My Bedroom.

So I was informing one of my long distance friends about my bedroom rearrangement and about the number of times I've done the same over the last 2 years I've been here ( maybe.. 4-5 times ) and he exclaims," What's with women and changing things?! Even my mom rearranges stuff in the house every 3-4 months!"

Coincidentally around the same time the new Sony Vaio Ad with Kareena Kapoor changing outfits and holding a different colored notebook with every monochromatic dress came out, with the tagline saying she loved changing her mind.

So I wondered, is the whole changing concept only a women's weakness? Is a man more focused and goal oriented than a woman? Does he have no distractions or fluctuating desires? Is she the actually the "weaker sex" ? 

But does wanting to change make one weak!

Change is good.

Change is refreshing.

So I can't really say why it is other women change stuff or their minds ( and oh! I am sure guys change their minds often too! Just that I don't know and am too scared to comment :P ) but I can try and justify why I keep changing the arrangements of my room! 

For one thing, I can never study in the previous arrangement. Second, I find it awkward having the beds joint. Thirdly, the room is more spacious this way. And as to why I did go for the previous arrangement - I get no ventilation and only sweat and humidity with the present arrangement.

Maybe its because women are more set in their ways or because they are picky and demanding that they change so much or because they get bored faster.

Of course it is a well commented and frowned-upon- fact that guys tend to change their girls a lot. Note that its just a fact. I know girls who change their guys so quickly that one might think he were a mere accessory! 



Just because it seems that majority of guys change girls and majority of girls change rooms, doesn't make it a "guy thing" or a "woman thing"!


Wow... me rearranging my bedroom went on all the way to become a whole gender branding topic! :P

Thus I would like to conclude the debate ( feel the mockery ;) )  by saying," This is the 21 st  century. Lets move forward and forget what's yours and what's mine!"
