Intangible Powers

Let me attempt to give you
An amalgamation of words
To describe the gufhas and leopards.
Let me try to tell you of the ruffled head
Of the old vagabond with his bindle
Or the uniformed girls
Giving their morning offerings
To the temple at the footsteps of their home.

All the colloquy complied
Won't sufice to sketch
The color of the rocks
That disturb the river
The white effervescence.
Or tree that shades
The mighty mountain
Or the majestic queen of the snows
Having her morning sun bath
Over shadowing all around her.
You need to see this
With your own eyes
You need to stand
At the edge of the cliff
Be the centre of this universe
Surround sounds of
The Himalayan sparrows
The gushing rivulet
The rustle bustle
Of the snow laden leaves
Quiet pitter patter of the hilly folk.

Let me attempt to give you
An amalgamation of words
To describe the mandirs & wildcats.
Let me try to enunciate the names of places
I couldn't even dream of & yet
Here I am
In the middle of the waters
A temple on stilts
Gratitude to an intangible power
The life I am living.
