Paradise

A man stands still
Middle of a shallow gurgle
Watching the red flags
Of a 100 something BC temple
Rustling again the gushes
Transport prayers to the heavens.

The silhouette dotted
With ruffled heads
Of corniferous tree tops
Yellow darlings on terraces
Dancing to the tunes
Of mountain owls
Scarecrow shadows
Metamorphosing
Branched arms grab out
Through dusky darkness
Mere flicker to guide.

I stand still
Middle of a gorgeous gorge
Watching the snow tops
Glide in & out of the fluffs
Wondering yet again how
We never deserved this paradise.
